World Day of Prayer is observed on Sunday April 26, 2026, also known as “Good Shepherd Sunday.” The purpose of this day is to publicly fulfill the Lord’s instruction to, “Pray the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into his harvest” (Mt 9:38; Lk 10:2). Please pray that young men and women hear and respond generously to the Lord’s call to the priesthood, diaconate, religious life, societies of apostolic life or secular institutes. O Good Shepherd, we thank You for the gift of our priests, Fr. Brad and Fr. Augustine, who shepherd Your people with love and fidelity. Bless them, strengthen them, and keep them close to Your Sacred Heart. Inspire many young men and women to hear and answer Your call to serve—as priests, deacons, and religious—with generous and joyful hearts. Guide them, form them, and give them courage to follow wherever You lead. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

1. Volunteer: Volunteers to sell food tickets and work the parish food stand, are the biggest need right now. You can also be part of our security team or help keep the grounds clean. Call the office to sign up!
2. Invite Someone: Our festivals are community events – this is a great opportunity to invite a friend or neighbor to Sacred Heart. The hospitality they receive may lead them to attend Mass sometime!
3. Enjoy the Festival Yourself: Enjoying the rides, walking along “Festival Lane” looking at vendor displays, eating great food, and enjoying the live entertainment are all great ways to support the Festival
