Knights Of Columbus – The Silver Rose program

A Silver Rose on a nine-month pilgrimage will be the centerpiece of a special Mass and prayer service at Sacred Heart on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 6:30pm. The program is sponsored by Knights of Columbus Father Colombiere Council 16929 to honor Our Lady of Guadalupe and express both international unity and dedication to the sanctity of human life. The journey of the Silver Rose begins each year in March and ends on Dec. 12, the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. During that time, Silver Roses travel from town to town along eight routes throughout North America. At each stop a prayer service is held allowing those present to join in praying to Mary all whose lives are threatened. Several of those routes begin in Canada and end in Mexico. One route ends in Washington, D.C., and another ends at St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, CT, where the Knights of Columbus was founded. Please join us for this important Mass and prayer service to Our Lady of Guadalupe.
