A Racial Justice Discussion Group

Open Wide Our Hearts: Learning to be Anti-Racist Catholic Christians

Session Dates: 9/17, 10/1, 10/15, 10/29
7:00-8:30pm

We ask that you participate in all four sessions.

Participants will join a guided and prayerful Catholic study and dialogue group to explore the work of Ibram X, Kendi using his book, How to Be an Antiracist, and the U.S. Bishop’s pastoral letter against racism, Open Wide Our Hearts. Please purchase your own copy of Kendi’s book (Approx. $15) and download a free copy of Open Wide Our Hearts from the internet. This program is not a political forum, but a spiritual examination of our own biases and prejudices. The object of this study is to inform, discuss, and integrate in the light of Catholic social teaching. All session will be held on Zoom.
