Youth – Grade K to 12
Volunteers are always greatly appreciated and needed!
A volunteer needs the desire to be comfortable sharing the Good News and their own faith with children and youth. Previous experience is not necessary. There is group and individual training, numerous resources, and a supportive staff.
Our office can assist those seeking information about programs leading to First Penance, First Communion and Confirmation. Please refer to the section on Sacraments for further information about these. Adults interested in becoming Catholic, learning more about the faith, or seeking to complete the Sacraments of Initiation are invited to enroll in our RCIA process.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact Andrew Johnson, Youth Director at (727)541-4447 Youth Ministries.

All Youth Ministries
Sacred Heart Pinellas Park Catholic Church has an active youth ministry program for all youth in community. Our mission is to foster the spiritual and practical faith service for life with Jesus Christ. We do this by utilizing a specialized youth program that engages their energy, imagination, curiosity, and playful spirits to explore their Christian faith within the Catholic faith paradigm. We also reach out to our parish community with the youth to help others in need. Some examples of our Outreach activities include an Annual Homeless Retreat, usually held every November, and our participation in the Lenten Fish Fry, held every Friday during the Lenten season, and more. Our program offers our community youth a safe and alternative place for fun with people their own age where they can make new and healthy friendships that will last a lifetime.
The community of Sacred Heart Pinellas Park Catholic Church commits to “sharing and living our faith” through ministry programs and “celebrating faith” through Sacraments and Liturgy. We also feel that the responsibility for catechesis rests with the entire parish.
If your child is not enrolled in a Catholic School, then then must be enrolled and attend Faith Formation classes. All children must also have a Parental Permission Form completed.
