Perhaps you remember Zoey, a Sacred Heart student, who shared how she supports Marcly, a young Haitian boy through the work of Compassion International. Zoey asked each of us to consider joining her in sponsoring a child. These opportunities are not for everyone but we publicize them because we know some parishioners look for ways to give beyond their regular commitments to the parish and our diocese.
Compassion International has sent us some sponsorship packets which we have on display in the narthex. Perhaps you can take a moment after Mass to take a look. Perhaps God is calling you to help in this way.
