A Door of Hope is a Christ-centered foster care agency sponsored by Calvary Chapel that recruits, trains, licenses, and supports Christian families that have a heart to engage the foster care system for the Gospel’s sake. In the Tampa Bay area, nine children are removed from their homes each day because of abuse, neglect, or abandonment. That’s nine children every day that are in need of placement and we have a system of care that sometimes doesn’t have enough homes or beds for these children.
That’s where you come in! We need families that have a heart to become foster families, and families that have a heart to support foster families or volunteer in other ways to help these children in a time of need.
