Pope Francis has determined the theme of World Day for Grandparents and Elderly for 2023 is “His mercy is from age to age” (Lk 1:50). A plenary indulgence may be received by those who attend Mass, receive Holy Communion, and receive the sacrament of reconciliation within a week surrounding this day. May we keep our grandparents and elderly in our prayers today.
