We are asking all parishioners to participate in the nomination process to our Parish Council. The Parish Council is an advisory body to the pastor; it helps relay the needs/concerns of the parish and provide suggestions and initiatives to promote the functioning and growth of the parish. Members of the Parish Council in many ways serve as your voice in matters of spiritual need and direction.
Parish Council Nomination Guidelines
Details of our 2024 nominations process:
• Nominations will be accepted through January 21.
• You may nominate yourself or another parishioner.
• We are filling 6 seats in 2024.
• Simply cut out the form below and place it in the collection basket or fill out the online form found at the link below. Ideal
Candidates Will:
• Embody the Parish Mission (Making and Strengthening Disciples of Christ) through service to the parish community.
• Follow the precepts of the Church and have a personal commitment to an active prayer/faith life.
• Are willing to contribute individual talents/skills to the best of his/her ability. Requirements to be a candidate for the Jan.
2024 – Dec. 2025 term:
• Been a registered member of the parish at least 6 months
• Have received the Sacrament of Confirmation and are 18 years of age or older.
• Are willing to serve a 2 year term, and are available to attend Council meetings (held on Saturday mornings, four to five sessions per year, September through May)
• Participate in some aspects of Parish life
