We have three events planned for our Feast Day. Will you help us with the celebration?
We will begin with prayer. Starting this Thursday, June 11th, and each day through June 19th, we will pray the Novena to the Sacred Heart. Since it is not possible for all of us to be together, a recording of the prayer, led by different parish leaders, will be posted on our website. Set aside a special time during each of the novena’s nine days to pray:
- for past parishioners who, through the gift of their time, talent, and treasure, have handed on to us this wonderful parish
- for our current ministries
- for our current parishioners, that each of us grow in our discipleship of Christ
- for our parish leadership
- and for faithfulness to our mission to Make and Strengthen Disciples of Christ
- Then, on June 19th we will celebrate a special Mass in the main church at 8am. Join us in person or live-streamed on our parish website.
Finally, at 7pm, June 19th, The Scally Brothers will be live streaming a concert for Sacred Heart. We hosted this young adult Christian band last summer and had planned to have them here to provide the music for the Mass and a live concert. Their 2020 summer tour is cancelled but we have worked out the live stream concert so that we can still celebrate our Feast Day by enjoying their music.
