We hope you’ll want to participate in six weekly acts of almsgiving. Pinellas Hope and the care facilities in our neighborhood need basic items for those in their care. Here’s the challenge: Each week, bring one items from that week’s list to Mass. Your single item, combined with others in the parish will make a big difference!
• Feb. 25, 26: Towels, non-skid socks (for nursing home residents)
• March 4, 5: Disposal razor, shaving cream, hand lotion
• March 11, 12: Toothbrush, toothpaste, floss
• March 18, 19: Ground coffee, creamer
• March 25, 26: Individual size shampoo, body wash
An almsgiving prayer: God of all goodness, give me a heart for generosity. Show me how to hold my possessions lightly, ever mindful of their temporary value. Inspire me to share what I have so that others are able to live without need or want.
